Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This is the privacy policy for elnurbda.com (the “Website”), a personal blog run by Elnur Badalov. It explains what data is collected when you visit, who processes it, and the choices you have. The Website is a static site; it has no user accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for your personal details.

What I collect directly

Almost nothing. I do not ask you to register, and I do not run contact forms or newsletters. The search box works entirely in your browser; your queries are not sent anywhere. Preferences such as your light/dark theme choice are stored locally in your own browser and never leave your device.

Hosting and server logs

The Website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data needed to serve pages and protect the site, which can include your IP address, browser type (user agent), and the pages you request. This is standard infrastructure logging. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Website itself does not set tracking cookies. However, the third-party advertising below may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; blocking them will not break the Website.

Advertising — Google AdSense

The Website may display ads served by Google AdSense. In connection with this:

Data I do not collect

I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and the Website is not directed at children. I do not sell data — I do not hold a database of visitors to sell in the first place.

Posts link out to other sites (GitHub, documentation, tools, and so on). Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy, not this one.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as the services the Website uses change. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version.
